Hairstyle.....

As some may notice, I don't style my hair much. I shouldn't even call this a style because its so simple. I simply took to sections from each side of the front of my hair and did a modified basket weave. I placed the hair as if I wear going to basket weave, secured with one bobby pin and added a flower lol (haven't worn those in awhile). I just left the back out. I lover this style because its so similar to my usual do, but just a tad more interesting :)

My latest obsession.... Instagram!

Im getting out of control. I keep saying there won't be any new social media programs for me, but I can't help it. I love taking pictures and I love sharing them. Mainly because I always seem to think if I don't upload somewhere I may lose them forever. anyways, Instagram is a photo editing and sharing app for the iPhone. You can connect and search for almost anything. Heres a peek at what it can do

Merry Christmas!

I just made my first batch of experimental muffins, lol. I started with a basic muffin mix and then tweaked the ingredients. I was shocked they came out very good:)

My kids decorated the tree

All by themselves lol. They are 2 &4. It all started with the 4 year old winning to decorate, I grabbed the decorations from the garage ( the tree was already up and is pre-lit)and they just started hanging ornaments without direction. They weren't fighting or anything lol. I figure, I would let them continue cuz last year they "rearranged" everything I did anyway lol

Back in Novemember Jarred and I went to his coworkers wedding. It was nice meeting everyone, they had such wonderful things to say about him and said that "he speaks so highly of you and the kids" lol It was great to hear that. Anyways we had a great time, the wedding was at a pretty nice venue. There was a cocktail hour before the wedding, intermission after the ceremony with drinks and appetizers, followed by dinner and dancing. They had a live band who were pretty awesome and played everything! They were fabulous!!!! The best part of the night was dressing up of course and Jarred actually danced! lol We had a really good time

This is my "go to" style, especially when I need a retwist. I simply wash my hair with terresssentials mud wash and little oil to braid. I usually do about 10-14 braids and that's it! My hair is soft, clean, moisturized and looks quite lovely... Lol

Raspberry Muffins :)

I wanted to type this up qucikly to share my newest addiction! BAKING!!! I dont know whats gotten into me ,but I have been obsessed with baking. This recipe is for Raspberry Muffins with a streusel topping. This was relatively easy to make and did not require too many crazy ingredients.

They came out great! Especially for my first try. I had to keep them in the oven longer than 20 minutes because they werent quite done. An extra 8 minutes or so did the trick :)

As if I need another social site..... Bt interest seems pretty cool. I learned about it last night from a coworker and promised I wouldn't get involved. The more I thought about it, along with some free time this morning I couldn't help but check it out.

What is it?

BAsically, its like a inspiration board. You can "pin" pictures of almost anything. Clothes, jewelry, hairstyle, food, recipes, crafts. Anything!

I was very disappointed to learn that you need an "invite" to join. Im hoping it won't take long. I look forward to using pinterest because I think it will eliminate my use of twitter and spring pad which I don't use that often.
