Baby boy got his first haircut today! 2/22/12 I didn't want to do it but it was time. He hates getting his hair combed and to be honest i hardly ever really combed it. I mainly washed and finger detangled. But his hair is really thick and would just curl right back up Into knots that by the end of the day looked horrible lol. Anyways, I didn't want to cut his hair because I felt like that was his signature look. His hair was so cool! Even though I would get stares, random people touching his hair, offers to braid it, and people questioning why I didn't braid his hair..... I still loved it. When he was an infant he had a natural mohawk and it was the coolest thing. He also has very light brown hair with orangish highlights. Ok, ok, enough about what was lol.
He tolerated the haircut like a grown man. He sat there and didn't drop one tear. I think he was so comfortable because he had been to he babershop with my husband numerous times and has watched my husband get his hair cut. We also told him ahead of time that he was getting his hair cut, of course he said no but at least we warned him lol
It's gonna take some getting used to, but I am happy that my baby doesnt have to be tortured anymore by the comb lol
